Why It's Called A 'Mud' Sale
Named for the condition of the thawing ground, the ‘mud sale’ is a Lancaster County auction tradition that raises funds for our volunteer fire companies and Amish schools.
You’ll find multiple auctions selling anything from antiques and lawn furniture to shrubs and hunting gear! If you get hungry just follow your nose to the food court where you’ll find delicious soft pretzels, fresh donuts, our famous chicken corn soup, and so much more!
And don’t worry, we’ll spread plenty of woodchips to ward off the mud!
